General Fitness
General fitness training works towards broad goals of overall health and well-being, rather than narrow goals of sport competition, larger muscles or concerns over appearance. A regular moderate workout regimen and healthy diet can improve general appearance markers of good health such as muscle tone, healthy skin, hair and nails, while preventing age or lifestyle-related reductions in health.
Strength and Power Training
Strength and Power training is the physical and physiological development of athletes for elite sport performance in helping them become faster, stronger and more flexible and to build their muscular endurance so they perform better and remain injury free.
Core and Abdominal Training
The Core is the foundation to all functional movement patterns as the limbs rely on core stability for movement and force production.
Working the Core is so much more than just doing the typical "Ab crunch" movement. Your Core is responsible for stabilizing your Spine and resisting trunk extension and rotation as well as for generating movement.
Nutrition
For every physical activity, the body requires energy and the amount depends on the duration and type of activity. Energy is measured in Calories and is obtained from the body stores or the food we eat. Glycogen is the main source of fuel used by the muscles to enable you to undertake both aerobic and anaerobic exercise. If you train with low glycogen stores, you will feel tired and also be prone to injury.
